Search with Salesforce
Searching in the Salesforce app is easyfrom anywhere in the app you can search keywords or phrases to find whatever youre looking
for You can even use your mobile devices builtin Spotlight Search to find Salesforce data
Here are a few search tips to get you started
If you get too many results enter a more specific search term For example enter the full name and company Mike Jones Salesforce
or last name and zip code Jones The more specific you are the better your results will be
Dont use partial terms like Ac for Acme Bread Company
If you think that a record isnt appearing due to permission issues check with your admin Salesforce only shows you records that
you have access to
Keep in mind a few key differences between searching in the app compared to the full Salesforce site
You cant refine search results in the app
Global Search in the app does not include results from your Chatter feed
