Setting up your First Assignment Group
Round Robin Assignment Groups use Queues and Assignment
Rules to manage eligibility for Round Robin assignment
Create a Case Queue Setup Administration Setup
Manage Users Queues
Select New Add Queue Name and select Case from Available

Object IMPORTANT copyandpaste the name of the

Queue See salesforcecom help for more information on
setting up Queues
Select the Assignment Groups app

Click on the Assignment Group Tab
Click New and Enter the name of the Assignment Group
Select New AGQueue

Paste Queue Name from Step click Save The app will
verify the Queue Name
Click New Group Member Select a User Click Save

NOTE If Group Member Status is red

make

sure Active is True on the Group Member record AND the

Assignment Group Active field on the User record is
checked
Optional Create Case Assignment Rules rule entry to assign
Cases to the Queue you created based on criteria you select
Once the case is assigned to Queue you setup it will reassign
the owner based on Round Robin Please follow salesforcecom
help on setting up Case Assignment Rules rules entry
Setup App Setup Customize Cases Assignment
Rules

NOTE This step is optional because cases that are

manually assigned to the queue will fire off the Round
Robin assignment

Queues

TIP When testing Case Assignment Rules make sure Assign

using active assignment rules is checked on the Case record
before you click save
